Artist's Description
A hare rests in lush spring foliage. A creature of the threshold, the snowshoe hare turns white in winter, and its big hind paws help it over the snow; hence the name. Hares are nocturnal. I see tracks often in winter, but have yet to spot the beastie that makes them.
