This painting was inspired by my short story "The Om Tree." An ancient tree, seeded by the stars and fond of ravens, tells the tale of a wizard who loses what is most dear to him and thereby learns the true nature of his art.
I am a fantasy author who loves to paint. Writing and painting work together nicely; one inspires me to do the other. I am endlessly fascinated by nature, myth, legend and imagination. I have shown paintings in galleries and shows around New England and published art in various fantasy magazines.
